June 21, 2010 - PRLog -- The Arizona Self-Storage Association (AZSA) is pleased to announced the first presentation of its 2010 to 2011 Workshop Series. The workshop, “2010 Self-Storage Law: Big Changes,” will be presented by Richard Marmor, the leading Arizona authority on the subject and Chair of the AZSA Legal and Legislative Committee.

The workshop will provide attendees with information about recent changes to self-storage law, highlighting topics such as e-mail notification and new options for disposing of “protected property.” In addition, Marmor will discuss why all existing self-storage leases will need to change and what both operators and auction buyers now need to know about buying and selling contents at lien sales.

"Our Workshop Series is an ideal way for self-storage owners, operators, and managers to educate themselves about the recent changes to the Arizona lien law," says Martin Lorch, President of the Arizona Self-Storage Association. “The workshop also offers practical and valuable legal advice about updating existing self-storage leases.”

The seminar begins at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 at the Little American Hotel in Flagstaff, Ariz.
