Launching of 14mp Altek Leo
We have seen the Leo Altek before - Android smart phone that thinks it's a 14MP camera point and shoot, or vice versa. At CommunicAsia, Altek showed a working unit out of the lion and adds some information about price and release date. Set the camera to read as a classic point-and-shoot camera - 14MP resolution, 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor and 3x optical zoom and xenon flash. Altek usually digital cameras, as expected. The Altek Leo also offers smile detection and a panoramic view.
The Leo Altek will hit Asia first - Hong Kong, China and Taiwan - at some point in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, Altek will not say whether Leo to the west.
As for prices, it is estimated at $ 499 (400 euros).
