A New Music Venue Gives Independent Music Artists Professional Opportunities

June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- In 2009, when the fall of CD sales and the rise of digital media started to make its mark on the industry, Launch Pad Music Venue was born. With the rapid decline of music venues allowing independent Hip Hop and R&B performances, and a choice few requesting exorbitant rental and deposit fees, Launch Pad Music Venue came to the rescue. It created a professional platform for artists to showcase their talent. There are several shows on its 2010 schedule. The first event kicked off on May 29, 2010. The next one is on July 17th and will feature a headliner from Dallas, TX called 3Riple Threat. These talented young men are quickly rising on the music charts, with their hit single "Smooth Wit It." Their label, D-Town Records, recently signed a major distribution deal with Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group, and has proven they have what it takes to stay relevant in this everchanging market. Other shows on the schedule is an all-female show called Diva Status on October 16th, featuring Ms Drama Ganza, a BET Dreamland participant, Suga Brown, Mz Law, Risse Cakkes, and many talented, local female emcees.
