The 2011 Nissan Juke will sport a fuel efficient 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. That might concern people who like more power in a car. Worry not, as drivers only need press the gas a bit further and the Juke’s turbocharger will kick in, delivering a substantial 188hp. The Nissan Juke’s standard transmission will be the very well known Nissan Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This fantastic transmission has no fixed gears and varies its gear ratio to suit driving conditions. On the performance end, this means the transmission can keep the engine speed where it makes the most power. For Boston car shoppers who prefer a more engaging driving experience, the Juke will also be offered with a close-ratio 6-speed manual.
