At Petriot, our mission is to strengthen the American economy and promote the growth of American business, by creating a convenient website for the American public to connect with US businesses. It is our view that the deminished state of the US economy has been a direct result of our actions as consumers: we are sending too much money into foreign economies and thereby not supporting our own. The formula is very straight-forward, and with little contemplation, one will quickly realize our current predicament. It was this line of reasoning that spurred the founders of Petriot into action.

Late last year, in December of 2009, as our respective family members were Christmas shopping for each other, we took notice of the issue. We began to actively seek for products on the shelves that said "Made in USA," and to our dismay, we couldn't find any. As discussions continued, we realized how sad the situation had become: conscious consumers can not purchase products from the United States anymore - where could they go to find them? Or worse yet, do they exist at all? Considering the state of our economy, and desiring to do something for our country, we formed our business and began seeking partners and necessary startup capital.

We are proud to say that there ARE products still being Made in the USA! And that is where we come in, bringing all of those products together for you in one convenient marketplace, making it easy and enjoyable for you to support your fellow Americans.
