“HEAL Detroit” peace rally will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Are you fed up with the amount of senseless violence occurring within the City of Detroit? If so, take a stand and stand up for peace! Stand up and march on Saturday, June 12, 2010 for Detroit.
Do you live in the suburbs and you think this doesn’t affect you? Well it does! Do you work in Detroit? Do you own a business in Detroit? Do you attend church in Detroit? Do you own property in Detroit? Do you have friends and/or family which reside in Detroit? If so, we need to see you marching on June 12th!
What: HEAL Detroit March & Rally
When: Saturday, June 12, 2010. March beginning at 12:00pm
Where: Westside residents will begin marching from 7 Mile and Greenfield to 7 Mile and Woodward. Eastside residents will begin marching from 7 Mile and Van Dyke to 7 Mile and Woodward.
Who: Citizens of Detroit and those who believe that it is time to HEAL Detroit.
Why: Because it is time to take a stand! Stand up and march!
Sign up sheets are available at G-Wiz, 20327 West 7 Mile, Detroit, MI 48219 and The Shoe Lady, 18090 Wyoming, Detroit, MI 48221. Can’t march? That’s ok! You can still participate. HEAL Detroit needs donations of water, food, paper towel, hand sanitizer, white t-shirts, etc. Donations can be dropped off at the two businesses listed above.
