The offices of Cincinnati based Record label 2039 Music Group was all a buzz at the announcement that its founder and C.E.O, Brain Keith was nominated for (3) Awards at the annual Ohio Hip-Hop Awards. "It really caught me off guard because I was nominated by fans and friends from all over the world. I had no idea I was even being considered. It feels good to finally be recognized for the music" says Brian when asked about his nominations. The debut album "The Brian Keith Project" was nominated for Best New Artist, Best Male Vocalist and Best Producer for the 2010 award year.
The Ohio Hip Hop Awards & Music Conference is dedicated to bringing recognition to the state’s hard working R&B and Hip Hop artists & associated entertainment entities. On Sunday September 19th 2010, tastemakers from around the state will arrive at downtown Cleveland's Convention Center to celebrate another successful year in Hip Hop. Last year the Ohio Hip Hop Awards & Music Conference was a monumental event in Ohio's Hip Hop history, receiving thousands of supportive comments and votes, and now the show is back for its fifth year. The OHHA & Music Conference is a several month process that directly interacts with thousands of Hip Hop fans across the great buckeye state.
