May 24, 2010 - PRLog -- In the past few years, the idea of generating energy in a sustainable manner and using it efficiently has established itself in the USA in response to the concern for secure energy supplies and climate protection. However, while the USA is only recently breaking into the renewable energies market, Germany has been at the forefront in renewable energy technologies for some time.

The huge market potential and the current positive developments in the area of electric mobility and energy offer an extremely interesting market. In order to inform about current technology trends in the USA and Germany as well as exchange ideas and experiences, the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc. will host the “E-mobility Transatlantic Mobility and Energy Conference” on June 3, 2010.

Speakers will include Karsten Schmidt of Bertrandt US, Inc., Dr. Joachim G. Taiber from the International Center for Automotive Research at Clemson University, Klaus Schoenborn from CADFEM GmbH, Bryan C. Coley from the Southern Company,
Dr. John D. Gatto from NRW Invest LLC North America,  Darrin Nowicki from Continental Automotive Systems, and Guido Woska from Hoffmann & Krippner.
