Contractor Introduces New Public Resource for Building Disasters

Responding to recent natural disasters, Virginia-based Advanced Restoration Services, Inc. helps residential and commercial owners facing building damage with new informational resources.

May 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Yorktown, VA  — Experienced contractor, Advanced Restoration Services, Inc., will release user-friendly, informative materials to become home and business owners’ information resource in the building restoration industry. Advanced Restoration’s newest addition to its series of informative folders will be distributed to the public starting this summer.

Renowned within the contracting field and partnered with businesses that serve clients nationwide, Advanced Restoration has earned a strong reputation in building remediation. The company is continuing to educate and target clients directly with more print materials demonstrating and explaining the effects of various forms of destruction. Executives approached Baltimore-based creative firm, MOS Creative, earlier this spring to begin the project in the form of a series of folders, one dedicated to each mode of building damage.

“This is a great informational resource, and especially at such a relevant time, when many people are facing damage from the elements,” said graphic designer at MOS, Dorothy Phillips. “But we also wanted to use the folders as a visual tool. It’s an opportunity for Advanced to show graphically just how vulnerable we are to the unexpected.” Each folder will resemble the detrimental effects of a different type of damage, including water, fire, mold and storm damage.
