The grandstand entertainment will start with the Lucus Oil Pro Pulling League – Truck and Tractor Pulls opening day Sunday July 11th at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are $8. Additional details on this event including entry information can be found at www.propulling.com.
The Action Track will be put to good use with derby nights, racing and motocross events. Monday July 12th and Thursday July 15th will feature Demolition Derby competitions at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are $8. Wednesday July 14th will bring racing back to the fair week with Indiana Sprint Week featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars. The race is presented by First Financial Bank and 500 Express. Hot laps start at 6pm. Ticket information and more details about the race can be found at www.theactiontrack.com. The fair week will conclude with a Motocross race in front of the grandstand on Saturday July 17th at 7pm with all tickets selling for just $5.
Tuesday night will feature “Minute To Win It” in the Grandstand with attendees getting a chance to win thousands of dollars worth of cash and prizes. The event is sponsored by local NBC affiliate WTWO. The show will have audience participation as guest will complete challenges straight from the new hit TV show “Minute To Win It” July 13th in the Grandstand at 7pm. All tickets are $10. Fairgoers who want to compete on stage need to arrive by 6pm.
Friday July 16th will be the Boot City Championship IPRA Rodeo presented by HI 99. The Rodeo will feature all the excitement of pageantry and competition with Bull Riding, Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Barrel Racing events. The Rodeo will begin at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are $8.
“We had a record year with our entertainment line up so we wanted to bring back those same events that the community supported so well.” stated newly elected Wabash Valley Fair Association President, Jennifer Cook. “We were able to secure some of the same promoters as last year that did such a good job of putting on quality family friendly entertainment. Plus we were able to keep our ticket prices low again this year.” Cook continued.
Tickets to all the grandstand events will be sold at the fairgrounds ticket office the week of the fair July 11th – July 17th. The ticket office will be open at 4:30pm daily.
