May 15, 2010 - PRLog -- In 2010, a small group of women with decades of experience in women's development came together to establish the Bridge Fund Inc. Connection. They were motivated by a passion to assist disadvantaged women to improve their lives by providing them with financial and technical resources. Through their experience in projects in Limon,Costa Rica, they noticed that women require both internal development to strengthen their minds and bodies as well as the skills and knowledge to transform their communities. Ester and her Port Limon group was initiated to empower women at multiple levels so that they could sustain both individual and collective development. Initially, they established an organization in Limon, Costa Rica and the United States which collaborated on developing her projects. However, they hope to gradually began to reach out to other women-run projects throughout the world and serve as an umbrella fundraising and networking entity to help expand the projects of other like-minded organizations world wide.
