American President Lines Phoenix Headquarters Wins Best of 2009 Award

May 14, 2010 - PRLog -- American President Lines’ (APL) new office headquarters was awarded Best Office Tenant Improvement  at the  Best of NAIOP 2009 Chapter Award Program held in late March, 2010. This annual event recognizes design excellence in commercial real estate and firms that have made a significant contribution to the Arizona office and/or industrial market.

American President Lines’ (APL www.apl.com) subsidiary of Singapore-based Neptune Orient Lines (NOL www.nol.com.sg), new headquarters employs approximately 300 employees.  The project is located within the LEED certified office development, The Max @ Kierland (http://www.maxatkierland.com).

Ware Malcomb provided full service interior design for this 65,000 square foot office relocation. The project incorporated sustainable design features, including high recycled content materials.  Ware Malcomb’s in-house graphic design studio wm | graphics also designed interior signage for the project.

Transaction and Project Management assignments for APL were handled by Studley, Inc. (www.studley.com) out of San Francisco, California.   Building construction was completed in October 2009.  DPR Construction, Inc. (www.dprinc.com) of Phoenix, Arizona served as General Contractor.
