You can even check out the versatile actress as the quick-witted daughter to “LaTanya Richardson, (wife of Samuel L. Jackson) in the feature Indie film, “All About Us,” alongside Boris Kodjoe.

Raven says of being blessed with winning the role, “I’m quite overjoyed on many levels. As a young actress working in an industry where image and weight matters, and even the thin are weight conscious, I’m glad to see a show willing to start a true dialogue about this.” Raven adds, “I’m also ecstatic that ABC took on this topic in a dignified manner, given the norm that similar shows about weight struggles tend to go the ‘reality route’.

Raven made her feature film debut alongside Dermot Mulroney, Emily Mortimer, Brenda Blethyn, Catherine Keener, and Jake Gyllenhaal, in Nicole Holofcener's independent comedy drama Lovely & Amazing, as precocious adopted daughter Annie Marks. Raven received rave reviews as well as a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. In 2003, she was seen in Tom McCarthy's independent comedy drama “The Station Agent” where she was nominated along with the cast for the screen actors guild award for Best Ensemble. In addition, she was also one of the hosts for Nickelodeon’s Pre Kid’s Choice Awards.
