Foreclosure -- Bank Running Out of Options

An Ohio resident is using street theater as his last resort to fight improper procedures used in many foreclosures.

May 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Banks are often accused of failing to use tools supplied by government agencies to help foreclosure victims.  One Ohio man is at the forefront of a widespread effort to get banks to behave in a legal, ethical manner.  This is difficult because bankers have learned they can ignore the tools they have, and make a great deal of profit by simply foreclosing in the homeowner, then buying the property at auction for a substantial discount.  They then sell the property at market value.  The original homeowner finds himself on the street, often supported at taxpayer expense.

Sheriff deputies appear to be colluding with a local bank to force a longtime resident of quiet Stony Ridge, Ohio.  On Wednesday morning, a man trespassed on to the property, cut the electric wires leading to the home, then escaped in a Sheriff department vehicle. This action was not only illegal, it was very dangerous to the officer and to anyone else nearby.

The Ohio Foreclosure Defense group has committed to help.  They are keeping a 24-hour vigil to prevent additional illegal activity. A live video feed is often online and can be found at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/Keith-Sadler-Foreclosure-Re...

A chatroom is set up for the video feed.
