April 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Each year the Volunteer Railroaders Association aka VRA runs several Santa Claus Trains rides. During the approximately 90 minute ride Santa Claus will walk through the train and visits each child, giving them a special gift from his bag. In addition to Santa Claus there will be other surprise characters that will also visit each child. Each child can have his or her picture taken with Santa Claus so they can always remember their ride, so bring your cameras.

These Christmas holiday decorated train rides are pleasant family fun with the little children enjoying the most! These events combine the mystery, history and love of the American railroad and the thrill of "riding the rails" with the magic of celebrating the holidays. The main characters stroll from car to car of the trains to the surprise and delight of the children while they visit with them and their families.
