The ravishing blonde actress and artist has become a bit of a phenomenon in her home city of Montreal after enjoying what many would describe as being nothing short of a meteoric rise in film and television all born of a stint on popular t.v show “Loft Story”. Fantone’s captivating beauty and electric presence made her the center of tabloid media headlines in Canada for the past few years. Now Fantone has her eyes set on the U.S and has made Miami Beach her new home” I loved the freedom of the people and the multi-cultural feel to the city and I love that I can walk out my front door and I am literally on the beach!” Fantone gushes.
The actress/artist is hoping to generate the same intense interest in her career and work that she did in her native Canada but this time utilizing her art as the primary vehicle of communication. Fantone recently completed a series called “Brunette Icons” that some art aficionados are saying is reminiscent of late world famous pop artist Andy Warhol’s works. “ I wanted to create something that would commemorate some of the beautiful brunettes of both the past and today from Sophia Loren to Super model Linda Evangalista”
Recently, Fantone was commissioned to create a piece for the reality tv’s most famous brunettes Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian for the “Kourtney and Khole take Miami” show to be hung in their South Beach boutique Dash. “I was honored to have been asked and the girls are just gorgeous, I think it is a perfect fit for both the store and their show and was happy to do it” exclaims Fantone. The evolving art scene in Miami is growing in visibility and importance with Art Basel calling Miami its winter home and neighborhoods like the Wynwood District garnering international recognition as a bastion of contemporary art & sculpture Fantone seems to have made the perfect choice in making Miami her base of operation.
