At a time when no one is thinking about new condo construction in Greater Downtown Miami, the power structure at Skyline Realty International and its affiliates are preparing to put a crane in the sky to develop the proposed Sky Palace at Mary Brickell Village.
Isos Y. Stamelos-Monroe, the managing broker of Skyline Realty who leads the preconstruction condo sales efforts for Sky Palace, will be discussing his company´s plans to construct a new tower at the upcoming Condo Vultures® panel discussion on April 20 entitled the Future of Condo Development in South Florida.
Stamelos-Monroe has a decade of experience in real estate, including four years as director of acquisitions for veteran developer Evangeline Gouletas´ Skyline Equities Realty. In this role, Stamelos-Monroe is responsible for cultivating and maintaining the company's business relationships with opportunity funds, private investors and various clientele around the globe.
Stamelos-Monroe will be joined on the Condo Vultures panel at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel by Howard Shapiro, one of the developers of the Brickell on the River condominium complex in Greater Downtown Miami.
Shapiro and his partners, who built the two-tower Brickell on the River complex with more than 90 floors and 700 units in Greater Downtown Miami, were one of the first developers to slash prices to the $200 per square foot range, triggering a buying frenzy in the South Tower of their project. The move has been well publicized by the New York Times, Miami Herald, and other newspapers.
By the time the competitors finally adjusted their prices, the Brickell on the River South Tower was well on its way to being sold out.
Stamelos-Monroe and Shapiro will be joined by third panelist to be announced soon. Peter Zalewski, the founder of Condo Vultures®, will moderate the panel.
The program begins at 6.30 pm and is preceded by a one-hour networking session that starts about 5.30 pm.
