April 5, 2010 - PRLog -- InnerCity Filmmaker Alex Flores is breaking down barriers with his new film "Amor=Love." The film tells the story of Panfilo (Markell Pool), a Spanish-speaking valet and Mariachi performer who falls in love with a privileged Caucasian girl, Daphne (Rebecca Jupiter). Daphne's father would love to see her with one of his law-firm associates but love proves stronger than cultural barriers, and though Panfilo speaks no English and Daphne speaks no Spanish, the couple find common ground.

The cast and crew parallel the storyline, hailing from Mexico, Peru, Germany and the U.S., all brought together by InnerCity Filmmakers, the non-profit organization that provides free year-round education and job placement services to disadvantaged youth interested in the film industry.

"I first met Alex Flores through my volunteer work with InnerCity Filmmakers, so when he asked me to play Daphne in his film, I was thrilled," Rebecca Jupiter gushed. "Alex is a true collaborator and I can't wait to see what he does next! I know that he will be very successful in all he does because of his hard work, dedication and vision."
