For over 30 years, Nutrichem, a medium-sized company in the food industry with a domestic and international customer base, develops, produces, and packages specialized dietary products, with primary concentration on liquids and powders.

In the search for the optimum technological solution for the inspection of products in aluminum foil packaging, Nutrichem decided to install two RAYCON product inspection systems from S+S, with the ability to detect contaminants and other quality defects.

RAYCON product inspection systems utilize X-ray technology, used for final inspection of packaged products. Aluminum packaging, metal coated films, misaligned or misplaced products, even two parallel product lines simultaneously are no problem for S+S X-ray scanners.

RAYCON guarantees optimal image processing at a very high throughput rate of up to 600 products per minute. Operating with low 50 KeV X-ray power, RAYCON is certified for food and food ingredients in compliance with EC directive 1999/2/EC, requireing no special installation provisions.
