Mr. David Cuddon, the General Manager of The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Seckold as the new Chef de Cuisine for the finest resort’s signature restaurant, Ocean Terrace Beach Front Dining.

Stephen brings a wealth of international culinary experience from luxury resorts and restaurants in New South Wales, London, Sydney, Botswana and most recently famed Flying Fish restaurant at the Sheraton Fiji Resort. He also experienced in Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin starred restaurant, La noisette working for Chef Patron Bjorn van der Horst in London and high end safari camps located in central Botswana, Uncharted Africa Safari Co with high profile guests including several members of the British Royal family.

During the two and a half years with Flying Fish Sydney, Stephen has successfully progressed to Head Pastry Chef before finishing his assignment at this restaurant as Senior Sous Chef through a combination of exceptional display of his culinary skills and driving ambition. Stephen considers his culinary experience at the Flying Fish as timeless invaluable and served to create further career opportunities under the close guidance of Peter Kuruvita, a renowned restaurateur and co-owner of the Flying Fish.

Stephen Seckold joins The Laguna Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali to bring his culinary talents to The Laguna Resort's remarkable restaurant, Ocean Terrace Beach Front Dining to further strengthen the reputation that the restaurant culinary have already established in Bali and abroad. Stephen will report directly to award-winning Executive Chef I Made Putra.
