March Madness for Special Olympics Spring Sports Festival Athletes

State’s top basketball teams and bowlers compete at state tournaments.
 
March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- LAWRENCEVILLE – Forty-one Special Olympics New Jersey basketball teams will compete in and around Wildwood as more than 750 bowlers compete at alleys in both Ewing and Stratford, March 27 and 28. The tournaments are part of the Spring Sports Festival, one of four statewide competitions held each year for Special Olympics athletes.

The two-day basketball tournament will be hosted at Wildwoods Convention Center and surrounding venues including Wildwood High School and North Wildwood Community Center. Team bowling takes place Saturday, March 27 at Curtis Lanes in Ewing, and singles bowling on Sunday, March 28, at 30 Strikes in Stratford.
