Going to Federal Prison-This is What You Need To Know Now!

March 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Federal Prison was a place I never wanted to be.  Federal Prison was a place I never thought I would be. Sometimes things happen that you really can't explain or even know why they happened.  They just do.  Life is funny that way, one day you're on top of the world and the next day you're in a deep, dark pit. You think that your current situation is the worst it can be–but it gets worse. You later discover that the pit has no bottom, you just keep falling and falling deeper and deeper.  At least that's how it was for me.  That was the process that I went through from the FBI's secret investigation of me to my journey through what I call the Criminal Prosecution Process, not the Criminal Justice System. There is no justice in the Criminal Justice System. But unless you have experienced it firsthand or had a family member or friends go through it, you literally have no idea what it is like. Throw out the words fair, just, impartial, honest, and truthful and substitute the phrase, “anything for a conviction” and you will start to understand the Criminal Prosecution Process. You may think this is just sour grapes but take my word for it, it isn’t. I just hope you never experience it.  


No one is fully prepared when they enter federal prison for what is about to happen.  You realize that you are going to prison and face incarceration but you have no idea of the process involved, what to expect and how to deal with the overall situation.  You are experiencing fear, trepidation, and anxiety and wondering how you are going to get through this nightmare. You are concerned about money, your property, your assets, your family and what your friends and/or business associates will think.  You are facing a situation in which you have absolutely no control.  You are very apprehensive as you have heard many stories about prison life from books, television, movies, and the news media.  You don't know what is real and what is fiction.  What's worse is that you don't know where to turn to find out.  Your family is frightened, you are frightened and you are not getting the help you need. No doubt your letters and calls went unanswered.  Now the good news, it doesn’t have to be that way.
