San Luis Obispo, CA - Jeff Geiser and his CANIDAE sponsored Unlimited 2 Truck team will head to Las Vegas for the season opener of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series which has relocated the first event of 2010, on March 6th and 7th, to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This amazing team is a combination of family, friends and co-workers who all share the same drive and passion for off road racing. They have been designing, developing, testing and working around the clock in an effort to bring what it takes to be competitive and win. Team, truck and driver will be at each Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event this season. There are a total of 16 short course races held over 8 weekends. Team owner Rick Geiser is crew chief while his brother Jeff drives the CANIDAE Geiser Unlimited 2 Truck.
Jeff Geiser's motto is "Vision plus effort equals success." With an innovative new design, motor tweaks, better tires and wheels, more test time, and a fantastic CANIDAE Pet Foods paint scheme, Geiser Motorsports is looking forward to a great beginning for the season.
Regarding the move to a new facility for the season opener, Lucas Oil Executive Vice-President, Bob Patison said, “Due to recent unrealistic demands made by the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park management, the environment of the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park no longer remains conducive to providing the atmosphere for a first class event.... We are grateful to the staff of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for assisting us in making this as smooth a transition as possible while we look forward to our first event at this fantastic new location.”
Ticket prices are $30/day for adults, $10 for children. Weekend passes are available for $50/adult and $15/child. Children three and under are admitted free. Reservations are now being taken for a limited number of on-site, trackside R.V. spaces available on a first come first serve basis. To secure a weekend R.V. spot at $200 please contact Crystal Liby crystal@lucasoiloffroad.com.
CANIDAE Pet Foods is also proud to sponsor the junior members of the Geiser Motorsports Team: Jeff and Linda Geiser's children, Lindsay age 14 and Corey age 9, each of whom race their own vehicles in the Single Buggy and Jr. 1 Kart classes respectively.
