On Friday, February 19th, Charlotte and Brittany attended the class titled Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification in Helena, Montana. This is a certification course sponsored by the Montana Association of Realtors®. After attending some additional courses on this subject, they will receive a certification from the National Association of Realtors®.
This comprehensive class covered the entire short sale process and the benefits to short sale over foreclosure. Many buyers believe that foreclosed properties are the best "deals" out there. In most cases, that is not true. In most cases buyers get a better deal on a short sale property over a foreclosure because of the costs involved during the foreclosure process.
