COCO KATO jewellery has launched 2010 Spring/Summer collection at unique concept boutique Wolf & Badger, London February 2010.
In her new line, “ WISH “, she uses silver fibre made with layer of 99,9% pure silver, which is permanently bonded to the surface of a textile fibre.
This material has been used primarily as an industrial and medical product, servicing high-tech industries and the Department of Defence.
More recently silver fibre has been used in consumer product markets as a result of the need for a safe, natural and effective antimicrobial solution.
This collection is totally unique, as the fibre has not been used for jewellery before.
She also has been reinventing the classic pearl necklace, combining stunning materials (silk, silver and natural pearls) to create beautifully crafted, delicate versions of this timeless piece of jewellery, giving it a new lease on life.
COCO KATO is quirky yet very wearable. It has been described as dainty, gentle, innovative also retrospective.
Her new and different approach as a jewellery Designer reflect her background in fashion design and textile development.
~Silver fibre collection~ combine with precious stones include natural diamond, emerald, and ruby. Items are Rings, Bracelets and necklaces.
