A.E.R, which stands for Advocate, Educate, Revolutionize, is returning to the city of dreams for its second year with NY Jets safety Kerry Rhodes as the official host of this year’s event in addition to featured designer, Laila Azhar. Kerry is no stranger to giving back to his community and has participated in addition to hosting a number of charity events throughout last year.
With a lavish Greek goddess theme A.E.R, will feature spring fashions by Laila Azhar whose designs have been seen on Taylor Swift, Lauren Conrad, Khloe Kardashian, Vanessa Minillo, Gabrielle Union and many more. As an extension of her confidence, originality and sophistication, Laila designs for the individualistic, independent metropolitan woman. Her collection will be presented by top fashion models who will grace the runway at A.E.R.
Guests will enjoy complimentary passed cocktails and hors’d oeuvres and a fashion event that will once again include a red carpet event, silent auction and guest speakers. Newest additions to this years event include a private after party for our celebrity guests, VIP, and media.
The first annual A.E.R Charity Gala, held in March 2009, featured a red carpet event, runway show, silent auction and guest speakers to benefit CancerCare. With hosts Miss USA Crystle Stewart, Minnesota Vikings Darren Sharper, and Alex & Simon Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York, A.E.R’s 2009 “Walk With Style” impacted more than 325 individuals who attended. The Tesla Group remains committed to CancerCare and will once again be donating event proceeds to the national non-profit organization that provides free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer.
