Feb. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- J-Works. Inc has start shipping the DSB496x series of USB 2.0 Controlled modules with 96 digital IO.  The digital IO lines can be configured for input or output on a line by line basics (DSB4962) or in groups of 8 (DSB4961).  Fifty (50) pin ribbon cable style connectors provide quick interface to industry standard IO boards.  Driver current can be from one of three sources, single USB port 400ma, or dual port USB 900ma, or an external power input. Pull-ups (to +5 VDC) or pull-downs (to ground) sockets on the board allow for monitoring contacts and assure that there are no erroneous outputs at power-up. Easy to use software interface includes a windows driver and a DLL or Class Library API. Linux support disk is also available. This small form factor module replaces internal pc based plug-in cards for use in various test, control, monitor and measurement applications.
