What can be improved by remapping a DSG gearbox?
If you drive any Volkswagen-Audi group car with DSG (direct shift gearbox), you might find it quite impressive to drive.
But there are plenty of things to improve in its work, and results we get is amazing. Not less.
Why you need a DSG remap:
- If car is chiptuned (ECU remapped), the DSG gearbox definitely limits the power (DSG torque limitation)
- Gear shifting will become closer to perfect
- Faster and much, much smoother gear switching
- Kick-down may remain untouched in Manual mode
- Upshifting at redline in Manual mode is possible
- Faster reaction to steering-wheel gear switching can be achieved
- Wider usability of S (sport) mode and more economical D (drive) is ppossible to do
- Acceleration is much faster in result
