German Shepherd World now features Facebook Connect

Feb. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- German Shepherd World, (www.germanshepherdworld.org), the top-ranked online community for German Shepherd owners, breeders, trainers, and handlers now features Facebook Connect, allowing German Shepherd enthusiasts on the world's largest social network to automatically login to German Shepherd World.

Gary Fujioka Sr., German Shepherd World webmaster said, "In studying our web traffic analytics we found a large percentage of our traffic inbound from the various German Shepherd groups on Facebook. Developers from both sites constructed an interface between the two sites in which user input and news is dynamically cross-posted to both networks, and members of both sites can navigate between the two seamlessly."

With more than 350 million active users worldwide, Facebook receives the second highest volume of global web traffic behind Google.

Often called the 'Facebook for German Shepherd owners,' German Shepherd World is a breed-centric site with a similar suite of interactive features allowing members to share photos and video, chat live, instant message, participate in group discussions, blog.
