USB TI DSP Emulator Includes a Real-Time Sequence Server

Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has announced the release of a Plug-and-Play USB TI DSP emulator providing a real-time sequence server without interrupting the application and programmable TCK from 500kHz to 35MHz. The emulator based on XDS560 technology is designed for real-time debugging and to operate in conjunction with TI Code Composer Studio IDE debug tool. It is an invaluable tool in decreasing project time and supports real-time, high speed data exchange and code download. The DSP emulator is also an ideal solution for hardware detection of power loss and cable disconnects.
GAO Embedded’s practical TI DSP emulator, TDS560, features USB compatibility, simple connection, no switch settings as well as hardware detection of power losses and cable disconnects. It provides a 1.5m cable/pod and is intended to be used with digital signal processors (DSP) operating at 1.0 to 5.0 volts. All pod signals are ESD protected. The larger the download size is, the more notable the speed comparison would be. This easy-to-use emulator supports TI DSPs with a JTAG interface, such as C2000, F2400, C27X, F28X, C54X, C55X, C6000, C64X, TMS470 (ARM) and OMAP. It also supports multiprocessor debugging of various types. The emulator runs under Windows 98, 2000, XP and Server 2003 operating systems.
