Jan. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- 70s Rocker Peter Baron is taking his musical, BOOMERS: Promises Made, Not Kept, the distance with an anticipated 2012 Broadway run.

BOOMERS has been playing the East Coast for the last 7 years from the American Stage Festival to Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

BOOMERS, according to press notes, is "an album of glamour shots and autopsy photos of a Baby Boomer’s journey over the Seas of Living, and Across the Generational Divide, in an epic quest for the Great American Dream.

Will and Laura were born into a magical time. Their parents had defeated Hitler. Having “saved the world”, a wave of optimism spawned a National erection or  “Baby Bang” leading to the biggest growth “spurt” of optimism in America history. Their story spans three decades of world altering historical landscape most culturally shocked and important generations in history.

In the late 60’s, the honeymoon was over;  idealism is derailed in a collision with reality, forever shattering the safety of Will and Laura’s  clichéd fairy tale existence.

Crushed idealism gives way to cynicism, of money and power seduction, and finally deathlike alienation."
