Developer can be a software developer who creates new software to bring a revolutionary change in the software industry. A developer can also be a web developer who designs new websites to suit different needs and demand of variety of businesses and individuals. He or she can also be a real estate developer who brings in a new change in the construction industry by introducing a new and bright project in the field. Likewise there are many industries and fields where developers play a key role in boosting business as well as the industry. Other way round there are many companies that need skilled and talented developers for their projects.

Obviously there is a vast pool of such resources but sadly only a few are in the percentile. Many times you must have noticed that two people of the same educational qualification and the same work experience are measured on different scales when it comes to calling the person for an interview. Have you ever wondered why? Most of the people think that its faith but its not always true. People always forget the initial and the most important stage of ‘writing an effective resume’. Yes, writing a good and communicative resume is utmost important when it comes to applying for a job and the difference in resume takes two people of the same quality and talents to two different directions. Henceforth, it is very important to prepare an effective resume.

Developing a developer resume is not a tough task; you just need to keep your goal of getting an interview in mind. Try and keep yourself in the shoes of the hiring personnel and you’ll get a better judgment of what can be the best words on your resume. Will you like reading long resumes? When you are in need of a talented developer and you have to select few among hundreds for an interview you’ll just go through the highlighted details that encompass the person’s credentials, achievements, and the required skills.

So, you got the way out to write an effective developer resume. Make your resume shine with your credentials highlighted and your accomplishments listed. Don’t make it lengthy rather make it short and simple. Use minimum words to express maximum of your skills and talents. In one short sentence explain how you will benefit the company. Use your key strengths as keywords that play a major role in screening of resumes. Format it in such a way that whosoever picks up your resume he or she can easily glance through the required details and call you for an interview.

Getting an interview is the first step to get a god and desired job. Cross this step and then the rest is in your hands.
