Computer Forensics Expert David Aberman Joins Document Technologies, Inc.

Aberman has assumed a newly created role to manage DTI’s forensic services practice for the Chicago market. He is part of DTI’s growing team of experts to support the increasing need for qualified data collection experts.

Mr. Aberman brings to DTI more than twelve years of experience providing a wide range of dispute advisory and complex litigation services involving numerous industries, concentrating primarily within the litigation consulting area. His specialization in computer forensic services includes data identification, preservation, and analysis of electronic data. Aberman has led investigations on behalf of external and general counsel, corporations, board of directors, audit committees and various government entities; and his experience includes investigations into the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, theft of intellectual property, whistleblower letters, financial statement manipulation, spoliation, SEC investigations, and insider trading.
 
Mr. Aberman holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.  Because of his expertise Aberman has been deposed by opposing counsel and written numerous affidavits regarding computer forensic findings. He also has spoken to various corporations, government entities and external counsel on computer forensic-related topics. Additionally, Aberman has spoken at the Computer Forensic Show, the Society of Insurance Financial Management, and the Chicago Bar Association.
