Follow on Google News | MNLA Announces First Vice PresidentThe Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) is pleased to announce that Mike Yancho, Sr. of Trim Pines Farm, Inc. in Holly, Michigan has been elected as First Vice President for the year 2010.
Mike Yancho, Sr. is the Vice President and General Manager of Trim Pines Farm, Inc. He manages the three-generation Landscape, Nursery and Christmas tree operation. He is Second Vice President of Genesee County Farm Bureau, recent Chair of the County Fair Exhibit Committee, Chair of the Michigan Farm Bureau Nursery and Greenhouse Commodity Committee, is founding member and five-term President of the Genesee Area Landscape and Nursery Association, Chair of the Michigan State University Extension Council, Genesee County, and is an honorary member of the Genesee County Fair Board. Mr. Yancho has been a member of MNLA since 1988 and has served on many committees, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. His one-year term began on January 5, 2010. The Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA), established in 1922, is the statewide trade association that represents the over 8,000 licensed Green Industry firms in Michigan that comprise Michigan’s second largest agriculture commodity and contribute $1.2 billion to our economy. # # # Trim Pines is a landscape nursery specializing in large trees and estate design and intsallation.
