We are a small Melbourne based kennel/training partnership that breed only working German Shepherds.  We have supply contracts with services including prisons, police and R.A.A.F. We concentrate on breeding working dogs with the quality to fulfil these roles, leaning more towards quality than quantity.  We currently have a 100% success rate with dogs we have offered to the services; all are now accepted and operational.  Due to our continued growth and expansion, our new website is now under construction at www.Integraguard.com.au and should be done early in 2010.

We had not seen Von Forell Aero since he was a 6-9 month old puppy, but after being informed he was back in Melbourne for breeding, we made an appointment to view him at the Von Forell Australia’s facilities.

Von Forell Aero "Axel" is a very impressive animal.  He is a large, heavy boned, powerful sable male German shepherd.  He has dark pigment, and a large impressive head, while his body is muscular and well defined.  His presence on the training field demands respect; this comes through his dominance and self as-sureness.  He is quick and only too happy to engage and although balanced in drives, his hardness and civil assertiveness is more evident in fight.  

He is extremely fast for such a large and powerful dog, and his bite is full and strong.  The dog possesses an attitude that is hard to find nowadays, and he is certainly a handful for Adrian Brown from Proactive Security!  I enjoyed my short time working him, the dog is honest and natural and resembled a larger, more beautiful version of my old dog; Von Forell Borg.

We were impressed with the overall package Axel had to offer, so we were grateful for the opportunity to then purchase a frozen semen collection from him.  We are very excited to be able to incorporate these valuable genes into our breeding program, as dogs possessing these desirable traits are becoming a rare find.

Our sincere gratitude to Kris Kotsopolous from Von Forell Kennels for producing dogs like Von Forell Aero for other breeders access and for owners like Adrian Brown for offering him to outside kennels.  This dog is a credit to you both, and a fine example of what a working German shepherd dog should be.  We appreciate the opportunity to access such a quality dog, and we eagerly anticipate the results of incorporating Axel into our breeding program, through our best female Integraguard Byanka later in 2010!
