In its fourth year the Client Advisor Awards, the country’s only Award program honoring the impact of Professional Services Firms, recognized ten companies who set the standard for Client Advisor Professionalism. Through its new tier of National Awards, the program also celebrated the client advisor relationships in other markets.
“The Professional Services sector has an enormous impact on our economy and on our country’s ability to remain competitive in the world,” says Andrew Dietz, Managing Partner of Creative Growth Group, Inc., which first conceived of the Awards program. “In every category of profession, it is easily argued that the United States still hosts the world’s dominant professionals, experts and advisors. As manufacturing has moved offshore what’s left is for us to bring our country’s great advisory and creative problem solving skills more and more to the forefront. And the brain power for this transformation lies within our professional services firms. We believe that it is long overdue that the impact of Professional Services firms and the importance of Client Advisor Relationships is not just recognized but heralded and honored on a national level,” Dietz explained.
It was a natural extension of Atlanta’s professional services strength that the City was host to the first recognition program of its kind, the Client Advisor Awards. Now, four years later, the Awards program has extended beyond Atlanta to recognize those organizations that have demonstrated a world-class approach to the relationship between professional services firms and their clients. Held at Atlanta’s exclusive Piedmont Driving Club on December 1, 2009, the Client Advisor Awards achieved near-capacity attendance as well as continued growth in the quality and quantity of nominations and sponsors.
Given the need for strong leadership in the professional services market especially in the current economic environment, the 2009 Client Advisor Awards featured as its keynote speaker Alan Deutschman,a business journalist and best-selling author of Change or Die and the recently published Walk the Walk: The #1 Rule For Real Leaders.
In its fourth year, the Client Advisor Awards received tremendous response from entrants and sponsors alike. Nominees were evaluated on their excellence in five areas: collaboration, creativity, content and value orientation, capability and credibility. Sponsors included: The Atlanta Business School Alliance, Business Wise, Cbeyond, Constant Contact, Deltek, The Chubb Corporation, Creative Growth Group Inc., Lockton, Strategies Group and Soloflight Design.
