Ubiquitous Touch Computers coming soon from APC displays+

Dec. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- The Ubiquitous Touch Computer series is being introduced by Advantech to serve the rising demands for self-service and interactive terminals. It is an all in one computing system equipped with a wide format, touch based LCD panel and integrated key peripherals, allowing end users easy access to information and self-service transactions. It also helps retailers to advertise special offers and keep track of customer spending habits.

Advantech panel computers combine a CPU board, LCD display, and user-friendly touchscreen within a slick, compact chassis. Each product is a compact, highly integrated, network-ready computer with the fullest I/O connectivity.

Already available from APC displays+ is the new Advantech PPC-177T; a powerful, energy efficient, high performance multimedia panel PC coming with a bright 17" LCD, perfect for image based applications. The 17" touch screen is available in resistive touch, capacitive touch and Surface Acoustic Wave technologies.

Complementing these, APC displays+ also supply Advantech industrial rackmount PC chassis.

Within the IPC-610 series, the 3 product offerings can accomodates a 14 or 15 slot, 19" rackmount chassis, other features include lockable doors to secure unit from unauthorised access and hot-swap filtered, easy maintenance cooling fans.

The IPC-610 series features hold-down clamps and shock mounted drive brackets enabling them to withstand shock, vibration and dust found in harsh environments. These rackmount chassis are well suited for mission-critical applications.
