New York Photographer Koren Reyes Opens New Studio on Greenwich Avenue

(Greenwich, CT) The beauty and glory of pregnancy-- captured at the perfect angle.  New York photographer Koren Reyes who turns her lens on women at the joyful precipice of motherhood has taken Manhattan by storm. Reyes brings her talent to Fairfield County with the recent November opening of Koren Reyes Photography at 85 Greenwich Avenue, CT.  

This boutique studio reflects the style and sophistication of Ms. Reyes. Every detail of the studio has been thoughtfully designed, from every photography installation to the lighting and beautiful bamboo floor, evoking a true “gallery” feel. The Greenwich studio expands upon Ms. Reyes’s business, following the establishment of her New York studio in 2002.

In pursuing maternity and newborn photography, Ms. Reyes focuses on making every picture a piece of art, something “sculptural and iconic.” Her extraordinary talent captures the beauty and personality of her clients, allowing her to produce inimitable results.  Her mission is “to give new mothers the ultimate fine art expression to remember one of life’s most precious milestones,” she says. After several years as a photographer, Ms. Reyes has decidedly found her niche.  

“Greenwich is a dynamic, international city with the added component of being a great place to raise a family; the decision to open my studio here was an easy one,” says Reyes.

Among Ms. Reyes’s other special focuses are the photography of children, family, and couples, including capturing the awe of tiny newborns and their parents.  Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Oprah, Forbes, Self, and Baby Talk magazine. She was named “Top Pregnancy Photographer of the East Coast” by Fit Pregnancy Magazine.

Ms. Reyes will be sharing the gallery space with her friend Ella Vickers, designer and manufacturer of stylish recycled sailcloth bags and accessories. With the mutual goal of expanding their businesses, the decision to share a space was formalized in mid-September 2009.
