More than 1,900 children, tweens, teens, and adults are registered to participate in Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center Hebraica's XXVIII Annual Maccabi Games, a week-long family-oriented Jewish sporting event, held at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center located on the Sanford L. Ziff Campus, 18900 NE 25th Avenue, North Miami Beach.
The games, which opened on Saturday night, November 21, will run through Sunday, November 29, including Thanksgiving Day. Most participants are from our local South Florida community and register to play on teams representing country of origin. Among this year's teams are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Israel, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States, and Venezuela.
