Seattle, WA – The CARS Program was a huge success; they provided a boost to the suffering automobile industry by putting people back to work as the demand for fuel-efficient cars increased. Dealerships recorded crowds in their showrooms as being the largest they’ve seen in a year.
Mike Tompkins, owner of Collision on Wheels, a mobile auto body shop, expressed his appreciation for the CARS program. “In addition to boosting the auto industry, they also removed over 250,000 old, polluting, fuel-inefficient vehicles from the road, offering consumers a cash incentive for trading in their old car for a more fuel efficient model.”
Now that the CARS program has come to a close and the supply of used cars is down, their resale value has increased slightly. “As a result, the demand for dent repair, scratch removal and paint repair has picked up. We come to the customer to provide minor collision repairs, typically completing them in one day or less. With auto body repairs being more affordable and not so inconvenient to the customer, more people are having their cars fixed up to increase resale value.” Read more about the CARS program at http://dentrepairseattle.blogspot.com/
