Sylvia has been in the wedding industry for over 15 years, has coordinated hundreds of weddings and events, and is the founder and national chair of the National Association of Certified Wedding Day Coordinators. The unique nature of this ambitious event is evident in the local and national media coverage given by the major television and cable networks.
She adds, “I have always been involved in programs and charities that benefit children, and this event gave me the opportunity to not only assist in a small way, but raise awareness on a national level the issue of homeless children and families that have suffered misfortunes or abuse. For the record, all 40 weddings and receptions began on time and went perfectly as planned. As one industry observer put it, “If this were the Olympics, she’d get a perfect ‘10’!”
