Nov. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Assessment Tomorrow, UK, is delighted to announce its 1st  International e-Assessment Seminar in North India in collaboration with UK Trade & Investment on ”use of technology to assess, measure and develop skills ” on 23rd Nov, 2009 at the Lalit Hotel, New Delhi. The seminar will focus on areas including the tools and techniques available to measure skills, knowledge and understanding and how learning and innovative thinking can help practical teaching at classroom or organization solutions at workplace. The seminar will cover issues like Employability Skills Indexing and how IT can help support the service desk industry in bridging the skills gap.

Assessment Tomorrow International conferences and seminars are already established as the leading event examining the practical aspects of implementing e-Assessment and Computer Based Testing and Assessment in education, training and professional development. This year’s event taking place for the 1st time in North India, reflects the growing awareness of e-Assessment and e-testing in industry and academia. The New Delhi Chapter of Assessment Tomorrow in India is focused on to bring experts and experienced practitioners from India and UK. They will share knowledge, best practice and experience of how to leverage the new tools and techniques of e-assessment to cost effectively and efficiently identify and develop talent. The speakers in the seminar include Mr Bill Malcolm, International Director, LSN (UK), Mr Jeff Ross, Director, Assessment Tomorrow (UK), Mr Kiran Shetty, SDI (India), Mr R Dhirendra, CEO, Eduquity (India) and Prof Krishnendu Sarkar, NSHM Knowledge Campus (Kolkata). The Seminar is supported by UKT &I and NOA.

Also will be speaking for the occasion Shri Savitur Prasad, IAS, Secretary, Dept of IT, New Delhi.


The E-Assessment  seminar will be inaugurated by Mr Vineet Joshi (IAS), Chairman, Secretary and Chief Vigilance Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, India) at 10:0 0 AM on 23rd Nov 2009 at the Regency Suites, The Lalit New Delhi, India.
