Sunday the 15th Of November,the first ever Musion academy Media awards 'MAMA's' takes place at the Old Cinema,within the Polytechnic Institute at University of
Westminster.
This location was chosen for it's historic origins-as the 'Peppers Ghost' technology was first created here.This vintage magic trick makes up the foundations of modern holographic technology
East London production company SquareZero, won 1st place, in the corporate category for Najma Bhatti's 12min creation which launched Speedo's LZR racer swimsuit.
The winning content, chronicled the history of Speedo right up to the present day.
It brought this to life with stunning 3D effects, and culminated in a holographic reveal of Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, who appeared alongside the live athletes who were present at the event.
SquareZero didn't stop at winning just one prize! They were also awarded joint 3rd place in the same category, with two of its other holographic creations.
Agfa Drupa (which showcased magnificent and vibrant butterfly's brought to life) and Toyota Auris (which also won an IVCA for innovation).
