PRLog -- Registration is ongoing for the November 19th Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers Webinar entitled “Stretching Your Career Services With Campus-Wide Peer Advisors”. In these difficult economic times, more than ever, Career Services offices are working to stretch their resources. Developing "campus wide peer advisors" can maximize career services and provide experiential learning opportunities while providing the "high-touch"
that students demand. Webinar participants will learn how to implement a program that will allow their career center to stretch their services beyond their walls and traditional hours of operation. Included will be key strategies for maintaining student volunteer commitment and engagement and lessons learned from a successful five-year ongoing campus-wide career peer advisor program.
The session will be co-presented by Kathleen Mannheimer, Associate Director of Career Services at Princeton University. Kathleen has an extensive background in corporate employee relations, outplacement, and counseling. Co-presenter Satomi Chudasama, is Assistant Director of Career Services at Princeton with more than eight years experience in career services. Cost for the webinar is just $125 for an entire staff to participate from one location. Detailed instructions, along with the link and pin access code, will be e-mailed shortly after registration.
