Attorney Leah H. Mayersohn Speaks to Law Students of Nova Southeastern University on Criminal Defense  

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Criminal Defense Attorney Leah H. Mayersohn, of the Mayersohn Law group, spoke on Criminal Defense to the Law Students of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) at the Shepard Broad Law Center campus in Davie, Florida, on Thursday, November 5, 2009.    

"Often students successfully complete their legal education only to find they still know very little about what practice area they would like to pursue,” says Mayersohn. “Participating in Nova Southeastern University Career Café program for law students was a great opportunity to provide insight, guidance and practical advice on the art and science of my area of legal practice, criminal law.”

The Career Development Office (CDO) sponsors a Career Cafe Speaker series once a week (typically on Wednesdays in the Faculty Study or on the Faculty Terrace) from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.  Practicing attorneys from a broad range of practice backgrounds are invited to share their real-life experiences in their particular fields, answer questions, and provide law students with great tips on preparing for their career.  Each Career Cafe presentation is video-recorded and made available on the Nova Southeastern University website for later viewing by streaming video.  This enables students who are unable to attend the live presentation to view the recorded session at a later date.
