Kcancer Hosts Forums on Smoking and Lung Cancer

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 06, 2009 – New York and San Diego - Kcancer, Inc. announces to host forums to address smoking and lung cancer relevant issues during lung cancer awareness month. About 90% lung cancer is closely related to tobacco smoking. Cigarette smoke contains about 4,000 chemical agents, among them more than 60 carcinogens have been identified. In addition, many of these substances, such as carbon monoxide, tar, arsenic, and lead, are poisonous and toxic to the human body.

Nicotine is a drug that is naturally present in the tobacco plant and is primarily responsible for a person’s addiction to tobacco products, including cigarettes. During smoking, nicotine is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream and travels to the brain instantly. Nicotine causes addiction to cigarettes and other tobacco products that is similar to the addiction produced by using heroin and cocaine.

Let’s all work together to organize rallies, distribute educational materials, hold fund-raising events, speak to media, and ultimately raise awareness for smoking and lung cancer. Everyone is encouraged to participate in activities to honor those affected by lung cancer.

Prevention or discontinuation of tobacco use is the best way to achieve the goal. This is everyone’s responsibility.
