Candlelight returns to Brangwyn Hall

Nov. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Candlelight returns to the Brangwyn Hall on Sunday 22 November at 7.30pm with Murder, Mystery and Madness by Candlelight.

These themes have been favourite inspirations for so many famous composers over the years, many of whom have lived mysterious lives.

Some have displayed behaviour bordering on madness with some sadly coming to a sticky end.

There are so many revealing stories surrounding music and musicians that are bound to make the audience shudder and smile.  

Top Welsh musician and TV personality Alwyn Humphreys tells the tales in his own inimitable style, with the music played by the Chamber Orchestra of Wales with guest soprano Ros Evans.  

Tracy Ellicott, Manager of the Brangwyn Hall said “Alwyn has plenty of fascinating facts to tell which will keep the audience spellbound, I’m sure the music and the candlelight will add to the atmosphere”.
