New Sage 200 integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Excel enhancing Business Intelligence

One of the key features in the new Sage 200 financials and commercials module is the enhanced Microsoft Excel integration which can be quickly and easily pulled in to the spreadsheet without the need to re key or manually export or import data.

A library of excel functions is supplied to allow information to be pulled directly from sage 200 into Microsoft Excel for analysis. Sample spreadsheets are supplied for Profit and Loss, Balance sheet and key performance indicators. It’s easy to amend these or create new spreadsheets to suit your own business. Exporting information into Excel such as budgets from the nominal ledger in Sage 200 to Microsoft Excel is quick and seamless.  The information can be modified and manipulated in Excel and then re-imported into either Sage 200 Financials or Commercials.

Financials and Commercials can be accessed directly from within Microsoft Excel.  A range of data fields appears in Excel and can be selected. An example of this would be a profit and loss report can be created in Microsoft excel and that can be updated with the latest information from Sage 200 at the click of a button.
The Sage 200 Microsoft Excel integration mean that new reports can be built from scratch to suit the customers exact requirements, however a number of prewritten reports are included with the product. Examples of pre written reports are Key Performance indicators, Profit and Loss, Balance report and Sales by product.
