“I’ve been working with local suppliers to curate the gems in this collection based on Spring 2010 fashion trends,” says Armour, the only Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) Certified Image Professional in New Mexico and Hawaii (where, in addition to San Francisco, she has a satellite office). “Prior to each season I take a look at the stones available in the market. I only buy the best stones and utilize the highest quality materials.”
Each piece in the Armour Gallery Jewels collection, which includes rings, pendants, earrings and other jewelry works, is hand designed, hand pieced and hand assembled at Armour’s studio in Albuquerque. Designs reflect seasonal fashion trends and are crafted to accessorize contemporary and classic wardrobes. As a trained metal smith, Armour incorporates professional jewelry techniques into her jewelry art.
Armour writes about fashion trends for the Albuquerque Journal’s SAGE Magazine. She has published several books about fashion, color and body type, and has just completed a how-to guide to becoming an image consultant. Clients include government, corporate and non-profit clients. Her extensive use of cutting edge technology allows her to consult in person and remotely, as well as teach classes and train image consultants in the U.S. and abroad from her headquarters in New Mexico.
