Shift2Neutral certifies prestigious Golf Resorts and Rainforests

Shift2Neutral, in conjunction with its Asian partners, has performed certification audits on the prestigious golf courses of The Mines Resort and Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur and Borneo Highlands Resort in Sarawak, Malaysia and the associated forests.

Spokesperson for Shift2Neutral advised, "the founder, Tan Sri Lee, is truly a visionary for the entire corporate community to follow". The spokesperson went on to advise, "Tan Sri Lee had the vision to redevelop the world's largest open cast tin mine into the beautiful The Mines Resort and Golf Club, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The Mines Resort and Golf Club now consists of a spectacular golf course,  apartment buildings, shopping centres, hotels, and parks connected by an artificial canal and man made lake.  Tan Sri Lee took the same vision in protecting the endangered rainforest on the border of Sarawak-Kalimantan, Malaysia which was a former timber logging area, and converted 1500 acres into a unique eco-friendly luxury golf course and resort and protected the remaining untouched 3500 acres of rainforest.  He is truly an environmental visionary."

In performing the certification audit,  Shift2Neutral performed actions such as soil sample testing, on-site visual inspections, geographical mapping, plant and vegetation analysis and documenting, using the internationally recognized certification standards and methodologies.
